Ghost Town

My story is about a slave (named Thomas) who was separated from his family and has been living in slavery for ten years. Eventually he escapes from slavery, and his only goal is to reunite with his family. He meets up with his old best friend and they try to find Thomas’s family. However, then something weird starts to happen. People start to disappear out of thin air. And no one knows why. Thomas starts to investigate why people are disappearing and begins to see a pattern; however, no one believes him as more and more people continue to vanish. Eventually Thomas finds himself in a place called The Mist, where he finds out the truth behind the disappearances.
